Representative Rogers Short Biography

Dr. Glenn Rogers is a sixth-generation Texan and fifth-generation rancher. Dr. Rogers was raised in Graham, TX, and attended Texas A&M University, where he majored in Animal Science before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Rogers owned and operated two veterinary practices in Graham and Graford, TX for 11 years. He also worked as a tenured faculty member at North Carolina State University and as a technical consultant in the animal health industry. Throughout his life, Dr. Rogers has been actively involved in his community and church. He has been an active member of the Aledo United Methodist Church for 20 years. 

During the 87th Legislative Session, Representative Rogers was appointed to serve as a member of the House Committees on Transportation and Pensions, Investments, and Financial Services (PIFS). Representative Rogers consistently supports conservative policies and values in the Legislature. 

Dr. Rogers owns and operates Holt River Ranch, near Graford, with his wife, Mandy. They have four children and five grandchildren.
