Community Liaison for Emergency Preparedness

Kit Marshall, TEM, is the Emergency Manager Officer with Parker County Office of Emergency Services working with the Emergency Management Coordinator to coordinate and/or prepare plans for all operational emergency support functions for Parker County’s Emergency Response Plan. She has also written many successful grants for the county.

Kit Marshall is an outspoken advocate for rural jurisdictions serving on regional committees and advisory councils at North Central Texas Council of Governments and North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council.

Kit served the City of Aledo for 20 years, 16 as Mayor, four on the City Council and was President of the Aledo Economic Development Council since its formation in 2008. She is a founding member of the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce, (2018 recipient of the Pappy Thompson Public Service Award), and Rotary of Aledo. Kit is Secretary of the ORU Alumni Board Association and a Board member of Probe Ministries. She is a well-respected community leader and volunteer for a number of organizations, earning the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Volunteerism in 2016.
