It was a pancake eater's dream last Tuesday night at our 68th Annual Rotary Pancake Supper. Congrats to Ikard Elementary for winning the pancake stacking contest and the $500 prize that will be donated to their school library. The total money raised is still being counted, but hopefully a preliminary number will be announced at tomorrow's meeting. Pancake Supper Chair Andy Browning is thankful for all the hard work our club put in this year to make the pancake supper a success.
"I would like to thank the many sponsors, both those who made monetary donations and those who provided the donation of goods and services to the 2024 Pancake Supper," Browning said. "Moreover, thank you to those who donated their most precious resource, their time, to make this annual event a success. Without the help of those selfless volunteers, this event would never be possible and certainly would not be a much anticipated event attended by so many of the Parker County community."
